A source label describes the data used for that response. Radar is not guaranteed at every coordinate or moment. A model forecast can be used as a fallback or future tail, and TrueHumidity keeps forecast output distinct from measured radar where practical.

Finland · Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI)

Primary rainfall-intensity radar composite where available. FMI open radar data is attributed under CC BY 4.0. Later forecast points may be filled by a model forecast and are labelled accordingly.

Norway, Sweden and Denmark · MET Norway

Nordic radar nowcast where coverage is available. MET Norway data is attributed under CC BY 4.0. MET Norway Locationforecast is also used as a model forecast source or fallback in supported workflows.

Germany · Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD)

Regional precipitation radar/nowcast where available. DWD attribution and the applicable provider terms govern reuse.

Netherlands · KNMI

Regional radar nowcast where available. Provider attribution and the applicable KNMI dataset licence govern reuse.

Czechia · Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI)

Regional radar nowcast where available. CHMI source attribution is retained; provider terms control.

Switzerland · MeteoSwiss

Regional precipitation radar observations where available. MeteoSwiss Open Government Data terms and dataset-specific notices apply.

Spain · AEMET

National georeferenced radar composite where available. TrueHumidity samples the radar at the requested location and retains AEMET attribution. AEMET reuse conditions apply.

Taiwan · Central Weather Administration (CWA)

Radar reflectivity data where available, processed into a representative rain-rate value. CWA Open Government Data licence/terms and attribution apply.

Hong Kong · Hong Kong Observatory / DATA.GOV.HK

Gridded precipitation data where available. Relevant Hong Kong open-data terms and attribution apply.

Singapore · National Environment Agency / data.gov.sg

Radar-derived precipitation categories where available. data.gov.sg Open Data Licence terms and attribution apply.

Canada · Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)

Radar data/nowcast processing where available. Government of Canada open-data attribution and applicable licence terms apply.

Location names and mapping

TrueHumidity may use Apple/Google platform mapping, a bundled place catalogue, and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for selected reverse-geocoding fallbacks. OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and subject to its applicable open-data licence.

This page is a transparency summary, not a replacement for a provider licence. The provider’s current dataset-specific terms control if they differ from this summary.

ECCC weather data and source transparency

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) publishes Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS) model data for worldwide forecasts. TrueHumidity may use GDPS model data when a verified and recent dataset is available on its backend. Otherwise, the app continues to use MET Norway for worldwide point weather. The 24-hour map animation uses NOAA GFS where indicated, and regional radar and nowcast providers vary by location and availability.

Data-source status is reported by the TrueHumidity backend. Forecast model output is not direct observation; no model forecast is guaranteed.
